HAVE A GLANCE AT ANCIENT INDIAN KNOWLEDGE & WISDOM - I

365 DAYS YEAR

Aryabhatta calculated the length of the year as 365 days 6 hours 12 minutes and 30 seconds but it is proved slightly to be an over estimate :

as we know the actual value is slightly less than 365 days 6 hours....

this is just a small example to dive into ANCIENT INDIAN KNOWLEDGE & WISDOM.....

LET THE INDIAN KNOWLEDGE & WISDOM BE GLORIOUS AND VICTORIOUS

Lord Shiva ( Dont MIss )

It might be aroung 20 to 25 km from Coimbatore if I am right.

It is in between Coimbatore and Mettupallayam,

and you have to take a deviation and go from there.

Guys, its an amazing place to visit,

A mix of tradition and modern work...

There is another interesting news for you.

If you could notice inside the hall, there are small cube like
structures which is carved inside the wall.

You can see it clearly in the 3rd and the 4th picture...
And that is the place where you can actually sit and meditate...

WHY GOD ALLOWS PAIN.........

This is one of the best explanations
of why God allows pain and
suffering that I have seen...

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.

As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.

Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?

If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.

I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment,
but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.

The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop,
he saw a man in the street with long, stringy,
dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.

He looked dirty and unkempt.
The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:

"You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.

"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed.

"Barbers don't exist because if they did,
there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards,
like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist!
That's what happens when people do not come to me."

"Exactly!" affirmed the customer.
"That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!

That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.

That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Water bridge ... over a river ....

Even after you see it, it is still hard to believe!

Water Bridge in Germany....

What a feat! Six years,
500 million euros,
918 meters long.......now this is engineering!

This is a channel-bridge over the River Elbe

and joins the former East and West Germany ,
as part of the unification project.

It is located in the city of Magdeburg, near Berlin .
The photo was taken on the day of inauguration.

To those who appreciate engineering projects,

here's a puzzle for youarmchair engineers and physicists.

Did that bridge have to be designed to withstand

the additional weight of ship and barge traffic,

or just the weight of the water?

Scroll down to check if your answer is correct. ???

Answer: It only needs to be designed to withstand the weight of the water!

Why?

A ship always displaces an amount of water that weighs the same as the ship, regardless of how heavily a ship may be loaded.

True Luck

True Luck consists not in holding the best of the cards at the table. Luckiest is he who knows just when to rise and go home.

-John Hay.

conversation with god,love

I asked God

I asked God to spare me pain.
He said: No. suffering draws apart from worldly cares and brings you close to me.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said: No.His spirit was whole, his body was only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said: No. Patience is a by product of tribulations, it is not granted. It is earned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said : No. I give you blessings. Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said: No. You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked all the things that I might enjoy life.
God said : No I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as he loves me.
God said.........Ahhhh, finally you have realised.

smiles come back to greet us

Smile once in a while, it will make you hear the music of the heart, smile once in a while it will make your pathway brighter . Life is a mirror, if we smile , smiles come back to greet us , if we are frowning all the while, frowns forever meet us.
