A Superb Story.....Don't miss it!!!!(Plz read it)

A professor stood before his Philosophy class and had some items in front of
him.

When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty
mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.

He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the
golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full.

They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.

Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full.

The students responded with a unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and
poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space
between the sand.

The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize
that this jar represents your life.

"The golf balls are the important things - your family, your children, your
health, your friends, and your favorite passions - things that if everything
else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

"The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and
your car.

"The sand is everything else--the small stuff.

"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the
pebbles or the golf balls.

"The same goes for life.
"If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have
room for the things that are important to you.

"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.

Play with your children. "Take time to get medical checkups.

"Take your partner out to dinner.

"Play another 18.

"There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

"Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter.

"Set your priorities.

"The rest is just sand.

" One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee
represented.

The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked.

"It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's
always room for a cup of coffee with a friend."

Foot board travelling

It is general practice in India that the public transport buses are very crowded and people tend to travel on the foot board of the bus. It is very dangerous. The cautions are written all over the place. Every body reads them but do not care to follow them . If any body happens to fall from the foot board the driver may not be liable for the accident. The main problem is when you are travelling your movement of inertia will be there and if you fall from the running bus your velocity will suddenly come to zero causing serious damages.

In addition to that the foot board travellers are a trouble to the other commuters because they are in the way for the commuters who are taking the bus or alighting it .

To all the foot board travellers my pledge is that please see to the behind of the bus when alighting. You people tend to alight from the running bus. The vehicles following the bus may run on to you . Please take care.

Travelling in public transport

It is highly recommendable to use public transport for all. It will be great help to the environment. It will reduce emissions and help to conserve energy resources. Do you know the fact that the most well maintained internal combustion engine will at the most convert only 70 % of the energy of the fuel. The more number of engines the more wastage of energy. So try to use public transport for the daily travelling where feasible. This way you can contribute your part for the magnanimous task of protecting the environment for the future generations.
Do not feel that what will happen if I only do. Every long journey starts with a single step . Take that be a leader . Start contributing towards energy conservation.

path to prosperity

To reflect and... Act.

The difference between the poor countries and the rich ones is not the age of the country.

This can be shown by countries like India & Egypt, that are more than 2000 years old and are poor.

On the other hand, Canada, Australia & New Zealand, that 150 years ago were inexpressive, today are developed countries and are rich.

The difference between poor & rich countries does not reside in the available natural resources.

Japan has a limited territory, 80% mountainous, inadequate for agriculture & cattle raising, but it is the second world economy. The country is like an immense floating factory, importing raw material from the whole world and exporting manufactured products.

Another example is Switzerland, which does not plant cocoa but has the best chocolate of the world. In its little territory they raise animals and plant the soil during 4 months per year. Not enough, they produce dairy products of the best quality. It is a small country that transmits an image of security, order & labor, which made it the world’s strong safe.

Executives from rich countries who communicate with their counterparts in poor countries show that there is no significant intellectual difference.

Race or skin color are also not important: immigrants labeled lazy
in their countries of origin are the productive power in rich European countries.

What is the difference then?

The difference is the attitude of the people, framed along the years by the education & the culture.

On analyzing the behavior of the people in rich & developed countries, we find that the great majority follow the following principles in their lives:

1. Ethics, as a basic principle.
2. Integrity.
3. Responsibility.
4. Respect to the laws & rules.
5. Respect to the rights of other citizens.

6. Work loving.
7. Strive for saving & investment.
8. Will of super action.
9. Punctuality.

In poor countries, only a minority follow these basic principles in their daily life.

We are not poor because we lack natural resources or because nature was cruel to us.

We are poor because we lack attitude.

We lack the will to comply with and teach these functional principles of rich & developed societies.

If you love your country, let this message circulate for a major quantity of people could reflect about this & CHANGE, ACT!!

this is the path to prosperity
